Last year, Yami Gautam gave a huge surprise to me and all her audience as she got married to filmmaker Aditya Dhar in an intimate ceremony with her family and close friends in her hometown. The duo had collaborated on the 2019 success URI: The Surgical Strike, and considering the success of the film and their marriage in real life, I had been waiting for the duo to come together for a film yet again, and now the wait is finally over.

Actress Shruti Seth took to her Instagram to share an image of the clapboard of her brother Rishab Seth’s next directorial Dhoom Dhaam, also revealing that the film will feature Yami opposite Pratik Gandhi, and it is being produced by Aditya. The team has started the shoot for the film and it will mark Yami and Aditya’s first collaboration after their marriage.

Rishab’s last directorial was the Amol Parashar, Smriti Kalra and Kavin Dave-starrer Cash, and now this is a big step in his career that he is taking, and being a proud sister, Shruti couldn’t contain her excitement.

She wrote,

“Proud big sister moment. Congratulations brother @therishabseth on the start of another crazy ride. Hope this one is an unprecedented success. Have a super fun shoot bro.

While Yami has had a tremendous start to this year with her impeccable performance in A Thursday, she seems to be cashing in on the momentum and deliver some more amazing performances with a line up that has Dasvi, Lost, OMG 2 and now Dhoom Dhaam. To add to that, she has a star like Pratik opposite her in the latter, who became a household name after Scam 1992. As for the married duo, I am excited to see how Yami and Aditya’s team up works after their wedding and I am certain that I am in for something really special.
