Over the years, I have been watching Tejasswi Prakash in shows like Sanskaar – Dharohar Apnon Ki, Swaragini – Jodein Rishton Ke Sur and Rishta Likhenge Hum Naya, among other projects. But it was her stint in Bigg Boss 15 that brought a new fame and fandom in her career, and she eventually ended up as the winner of the reality show. Ever since, Tejasswi has been riding high on success and I feel so happy seeing her reach this position in her career.
After winning Bigg Boss 15, the actress reported on set the very next day, to headline the supernatural show Naagin 6, and she has been receiving immense love for it. However, the actress still feels there is a lot left to be done.
Tejasswi shares,
“What I have going on right now, my current phase, it’s great. But I still have a long way to go. There’s a huge list of professional goals that I need to achieve first. I want to do more challenging roles, projects that really bring out the best in me. And I am glad that I have so many supporters in my life, who push me to do better every single day.”
She adds,
“Many people ask me how I feel. You may not believe this but all this hasn’t sunk in yet. Post pandemic, I did Bigg Boss and now I am doing Naagin 6. So if you ask me how does all this feel, I’ll say it feels surreal.”
While Tejasswi has been in the industry for some time, it was Bigg Boss 15 that introduced her to literally every household in the country. And the actress acknowledges the love she has been receiving due to it ever since.
Talking about it, the actress insists,
“I don’t even know what to say to this anymore. I always had a loyal set of fans from my pre-Bigg Boss days. And that has grown leaps and bounds after BB15. I couldn’t believe what I saw in terms of the number of fans and fan clubs when I came out. A humungous part of credit for my Bigg Boss win goes to them. They have been nothing but supportive.”
Naagin has been the longest running franchise on Indian television and it’s fan base just keeps increasing. To headline a show like that is no mean feat and Tejasswi realises that.
She asserts,
“I believe that Naagin has been the most loved and watched fantasy franchise in India. And I consider joining the line up of actresses, who have headlined the series, a huge professional privilege. It also is a dream come true. I really hope that I am doing a good job and that I am justifying my part, my character.”
Tejasswi has had one of the most amazing start to the year 2022, and seeing the path that she has taken, I am sure that it is just going to get bigger and better. There is surely a lot of success in her future and I can’t wait to see it all unravel.
