Kiara Advani is quite the busy bee in Bollywood these days. We’ve seen her in Shershaah opposite rumoured boyfriend Siddharth Malhotra and we’ll see her this May in horror-comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 opposite Kartik Aaryan and Tabu. The star has two upcoming Dharma Productions both of which are rom-coms; Jug Jugg Jeeyo with Varun Dhawan and Govinda Naam Mera with Vicky Kaushal. The year looks pretty exciting on the work front for Kiara and we’re eager to continue seeing more of her on-screen. But for now, we’re enjoying her ootd posts on Instagram, read on for more deets.

Here’s a closer look at Kiara Advani‘s sequin jumpsuit:

If there’s one thing I love about fashion, it’s the fact that the greatest hits always make a comeback. This means, it would serve you well to be a hoarder like me because as trends return I’m able to dig through my closet for key pieces and wear them like I have my finger on the pulse of fashion. These days ’90s trends seem to be making a major come back and I am living for it because as a ’90s baby I’m totes bias to the decade. Last night, we saw Kiara Advani sport power shoulders, a trend that was huge in the early ’80s and was mostly seen in women’s skirt suits. Celebrity stylist Lakshmi Lehr gave her an electric blue, fully embellished, sequin jumpsuit from Naeem Khan.

The jumpsuit features power shoulders, an exaggerated, plunging neckline, bell-bottoms and a sash-like belt that really pulls focus to her teeny-tiny waistline. Love the fact that this jumpsuit has pockets. There’s nothing about this look that I don’t love and the fact that they chose to do this sans jewellery was the absolute right choice. Totally digging the highlighted collar bones as well.

Makeup artist Saloni Jain plays around with the luminous glow trend, which is a play on monochromatic makeup just with nude/peachish tones that meld with the skin to give it a natural caramel finish. Smokey brown eyes, strong brows with contoured cheeks, a chiselled jaw and nude pout added to her glam. The look is fab overall but I feel like they could have done so much more and experimented quite a bit with the eye makeup, especially now with all the hoopla around the makeup trends that emerged from Euphoria. A funky bejewelled eye or a metallic eye could have taken this look to the next level. Humera Shaikh gives her the wet sleek back look which we’ve seen before too. This look really begged for a modern take on ’90s glam trends. Kiara looked flawless never the less, but the heart yearns for more experimentation.
