The #Ralia wedding that we’ve all been waiting for finally happened this week and we still can’t stop gushing over the pictures and videos coming out! Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt tied the knot on 15th April, 2022 and the private ceremony saw a guest list of just close family and friends. They got married in Chembur, Mumbai and Alia shared on Instagram that they actually got married at their favourite spot in the house—the balcony, where they’ve shared many sweet moments with each other. Now if you’re someone who’s looking for more details about the wedding, outfits, jewellery and more then look no further. We’ve got you covered! Check out all the details below of the #Ralia wedding:

1. Outfits

Alia and Ranbir decided to go with the most celebrated Indian designer, Sabysachi, for their D-Day outfits. Styled by Ami Patel, the white and gold colour tone complimented the couple perfectly, especially since it was a summer wedding in this unforgiving Mumbai weather! Alia ditched the obvious ‘lehenga wedding look’ for a beautiful saree with a veil and looked like a dream. And did you notice the butterflies on her saree? So intricate and beautiful! Ranbir’s Sherwani was perfectly accessorised with a three string pearl necklace and a safa. Is it obvious that we’re still obsessed with all that happened at the #Ralia wedding?

2. Jewellery

Just like the couple’s outfits, the jewellery was also by Sabyasachi! The gold and white jewellery looked so subtle yet so rich on both the bride and groom. From Alia’s matta patti to Ranbir’s Sarpech, it was definitely a big fashion hit! And to add to this, Alia’s mangalsutra also had the infinity symbol/number 8 on it, which if you’re not aware, is Ranbir’s lucky number.

3. Kaleera’s

I don’t know about you, but I fell in love with Alia’s kaleera’s the moment I saw the first pictures come out. I mean, look at the cute birds on them! She definitely does not go with the obvious choices and styles and her kaleera’s by Mrinalini Chandra were all kinds of unique and gorgeous.

4. Shoes

We’re all for comfort with style and that’s exactly what Alia went with for her wedding shoes. She wore a pair of stunning dull gold Kolhapuri heels from Stoffa that went perfectly with her saree!

5. Hair & Makeup

Unlike the full-face makeup that brides usually go for, Alia donned a subtle no-makeup makeup look, done masterfully by Puneet B Saini. Just a touch of mascara, hint of rouge on the lips and the bridal glow on the face made Alia one of the prettiest brides we’ve seen! Hair was done by Flavien Heldt and draping of the saree by Dolly Jain.

Mehendi Deets

Just as the wedding looks had us looking with heart eyes, the Mehendi looks are nothing less captivating. The couple matched in pink where Ranbir wore Sabyasachi and Alia chose a Manish Malhotra fuschia pink lehenga! Manish Malhotra shared how Alia chose to personalise her Mehendi lehenga with a sustainable approach where 180 different textile patches came together to get this gorgeous ensemble ready! The Kashmiri and Chikankari threadwork is indeed a work of art and passion by Mijwan women. Her blouse embellished in real gold and silver nakshi and kora flowers featured vintage gold metal sequins from Kutch. It even had scraps from some of her earlier outfits included in her lehenga, how cool is that?

Ranbir’s three-piece Sabyasachi monochrome pink kurta set was simple yet classy and looked perfect for the occassion. We saw him wearing the vest coat while performing the surprise dance by the ladkewale and later took it off and we can’t decide which version we liked better! Honestly, the Mehendi ceremony looked like a fun fashion fiesta and we’re not complaining!
