It has been two days since Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt got married in an intimate ceremony, surrounded by their family and close friends, and I have still not been able to get over their gorgeous wedding pictures. But while I was still reeling in their effect, the couple has given me something else to look forward to as tonight they are hosting their wedding bash, and seeing the glitz and glamour that the guests are bringing with them, I am sure it’s going to be a memorable night.
Both Ranbir and Alia’s mothers Neetu Kapoor and Soni Razdan were the first to arrive and they set the bar for the fashion quotient quite high as they both rocked their green and black ensemble respectively. They were both accompanied by daughters Riddhima Kapoor Sahni and Shaheen Bhatt, who also brought their A-game.
Amongst the guest list from Bollywood, the who’s who of the industry graced the occasion with their presence, which included Ayan Mukerji, Karan Johar, Luv Ranjan and his wife Alisha Vaid, Shakun Batra, Rohit Dhawan with his wife, Shweta Bachchan and Alia’s best friend Akansha Ranjan Kapoor.
A lot of leading faces from Bollywood also made an appearance at the celebration including Arjun Kapoor, who arrived with girlfriend Malaika Arora, Aditya Seal and wife Anushka Ranjan, Ranbir’s cousin Aadar Jain with girlfriend Tara Sutaria, Karisma Kapoor and Aditya Roy Kapur.
Gauri Khan also came to the event looking gorgeous as always and she was soon followed by husband Shah Rukh Khan in a separate car, but the superstar had his curtains on all around in the car.
Till the time I was done writing this article, the guests were still coming in, so I am sure it must have turned out to be a night to remember. Ranbir and Alia stole my heart with their wedding pictures and now I will be waiting the whole day tomorrow to catch glimpses from this starry night. Meanwhile, wishing the lovely newlyweds a lifetime of togetherness.
