It’s just been a few days since Ranbir Kapoor got married to Alia Bhatt, but the actors are back to work already. While Alia has begun shooting for Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani, Ranbir has started his next, Animal which is directed by Sandeep Vanga Reddy. The film has gone on floors today in Manali.

Ever since the announcement was made, there’s been immense excitement around this film because it’s Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s next after Kabir Singh. The film’s ensemble is another reason to look forward to the film – it will see Ranbir alongside Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol. The announcement was also very intriguing, especially, the whistle in that.
As per the film’s initial announcement video, Parineeti Chopra was meant to be a part of it, but now Rashmika is on board. Animal is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Pranay Reddy Vanga and Murad Khetani.
It’s been four years since the audience saw Ranbir on-screen and the audience is already looking forward to Brahmastra with baited breath. Now post his marriage festivities, there’s more excitement to see what’s in store from the actor next. With such a promising team, one looks forward to what Animal has to offer. The film is set to release on August 11, 2023. The fact that it’s an Independence day long weekend, is further expected to add to the film’s success.
