Vivek Oberoi Joins Sidharth Malhotra & Shilpa Shetty In Rohit Shetty’s ‘Indian Police Force’

Rohit Shetty became the first filmmaker in Indian cinema to create a film universe like he did with Singham, Simmba and Sooryavanshi. That is an achievement I really admire him for as it changed a lot in the working of the film industry. Now, he is all set to take his cop universe to yet another level, as after conquering the big screen, he is coming to OTT with Sidharth Malhotra in Indian Police Force.

The series is getting all the more intriguing by the day as every other day, the team is introducing a new entry into the cop-verse. Recently, it was the addition of the first female cop in it which will be played by Shilpa Shetty Kundra and now Vivek Oberoi is the latest entrant to it, as he will be playing a cop in the series too.

Introducing Vivek to his universe, Rohit described him as the “most experienced officer of our squad.” Even Vivek accepted the welcome with as much excitement as he wrote, “Charged to join the best force : “Indian Police Force” and be a supercop in the Rohit Shetty Cop Universe! With each new entry, Rohit’s Indian Police Force is getting bigger and better. The series is an action-packed fictional series paying an ode to the selfless service, unconditional commitment and fierce patriotism of our police officers across the country who put everything on the line in their call of duty to keep us safe. It will stream on Amazon Prime Video.

I can’t wait to see who else will be joining this elite cop squad and more than that, I am really hoping to see cameos by Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh and Akshay Kumar in the show. This show is anyway turning out to be epic, and their involvement will just break all OTT records.
