If there is an upcoming Hindi film that has had me pumped up for its release ever since the word go, it has to be Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. The film has so many factors working in its favour, first it being the sequel to a highly loved and admired movie, secondly the genre of horror-comedy that it lies in and thirdly, the amazing star cast it boasts. With Kartik Aaryan, Kiara Advani and Tabu at the forefront and Anees Bazmee helming it, the sequel has blockbuster written all over it and the fun and intriguing trailer released recently just strengthened that belief of mine.
This morning, the team unveiled the much-awaited title track of the film, and trust me, it has lived up to all the hype around it. A recreation of Hare Krishna Hare Ram from the 2007 original film, the song sees the return of Neeraj Sridhar to croon it, with the music recreation done by Tanishk Bagchi and choreography by Bosco-Caeser. The lyrics for the new antara are penned by Mandy Gill (Jam8) and the melody is composed by Pritam.

The video of the song is the perfect platform to showcase Kartik’s dancing prowess as his cool vibe just encapsulates you from the word go. The actor has mastered the choreography and the zig-zag hook step has already become my favourite, something I am going to attempt a lot in the coming days. As for the song, it retains the essence and fun vibe of the original while giving it a fresh and contemporary touch as well. Its so good to hear Neeraj’s voice again in a fresh song. His voice has something special in it that it makes any song a chartbuster. And this one will be no different in that regard. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 title track will compel you to put on your dancing shoes while making you gawk at how effortlessly Kartik pulls off those sweet moves.
I am genuinely quite excited about Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 as I have loved the original film like crazy, plus I am curious to see Kartik and Kiara together on screen for the first time. Also, since Tabu’s name is attached to the project, it automatically becomes a must-watch for me. Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Murad Khetani, Anjum Khetani and Krishan Kumar, the sequel is releasing on May 20, 2022 and I can say it with surety that May 20 cannot come soon enough.
