I have always been very fascinated with films that have been glorious tales of standing up for the nation. And while Shershaah was one such tale, an upcoming film that is giving me similar feelings is Major. The Adivi Sesh and Saiee Manjrekar starrer had its trailer released today and after watching this cut from the film, I am very impressed. Produced by Mahesh Babu the film’s story is inspired by the real life of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan who emerged as the Hero of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks.
In the trailer we see the galiant soldier Sandeep choosing his nation over his life and standing to save mankind in the darkest hour. While the film’s trailer left the patriot in me overwhelmed, as a viewer, I am quite stunned by the Major’s life.

In the film we see Saiee as Adivi’s love interest and while I love how amazing these two look together. Seeing their love story end the way it does touches my heart. Saiee was last seen in Dabangg 3 and Ghani, and now with this, she is going to leave quite a lasting impression.
As for Adivi Sesh, his soldier avatar in the film has already left me charmed and I am sure that his performance will leave me spellbound.
Major also stars Sobhita Dhulipala, Prakash Raj, and Revathi in pivotal roles. Directed by Sashi Kiran Tikka the film is slated to release on 3rd June 2022.
