Being able to walk the Cannes red carpet this year is really a moment of privilege. It’s not to be taken for granted. Being South Asian and representing my community of creatives is a surreal moment. Having south Asian representation in Cannes is a powerful tool for story-telling. We have been underrepresented on an international scale and as a child, I didn’t have any such role models to look up to or who I could relate with. We are being given a valuable opportunity to carry to embrace and celebrate our representation and hopefully inspire the next generation in years to come.

Three years ago when Tarini started creating content, little did know she knew that one day she will walk the red carpet at Cannes. We totally agree with the saying that dreams do come true and everything is going to be worth it, just keep working hard. Her princess moment at the Film Festival was just beautiful and we could not take our eyes off her.
