After Zero in 2018, when Shah Rukh Khan took a sabbatical from films, the fan in me was quite disappointed. But looks like the superstar is making up for his absence in a big way, for, he is all set to treat us to not one but three projects next year. And let me tell you, there are little treats from SRK coming this year too. Even though we all knew, saw and equally drooled over Shah Rukh’s stunning look in Pathaan, another project I was excited about was Atlee‘s untitled film that got its name yesterday. The action entertainer is called Jawan and it releases almost a year from now, which is 2nd June 2023.
And I must say, Jawan only gets bigger as we speak, for, the film will release in five languages – Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada. Directed by Atlee, the film is a massive action entertainer that will bring to us high octane action sequences and nothing less. Making this great announcement, SRK also treated us to a teaser from the film where we see him covered in bandages and that is only making me curious as a viewer.

Jawan is a universal story that goes beyond languages, geographies and is for all to enjoy. Well, so far rumours about the leading ladies have been doing rounds, but no confirmations have been made yet. However, I am super thrilled about this already. Jawan is produced by Gauri Khan and presented by Red Chillies Entertainment. With this film, Shah Rukh Khan has three projects on his plate, Dunki, Pathaan and Jawan. But before this, we will see SRK making cameos in Brahmastra and Cirkus too. Exciting no? Well, SRK has a lot more in store for us, so stay tuned!
