As we gear for Koffee With Karan season 7, we can’t help but look back at the memories the past season has given us. Well, we can’t just stop at memories. From innuendos, controversial statements, memes galore, our favorite stars unleashing their candid candor and most importantly, a dose of glam!
Karan Johar‘s show has been the summit of fashion and style and as each season progresses, each star has upped their style game and how. We have seen an array of high fashion looks through out the last 6 seasons and as we gear up for the latest season of Koffee with Karan, we bring to you some of our favorite glam moments from the show.
1) Desi Girl And Bebo Moment
A moment to just stare and appreciate the sheer beauty of two of Bollywood‘s biggest actresses: Priyanka Chopra and Kareena Kapoor Khan! These two glam ladies whirred up quite a storm in their bold and sexy avatar. Kareena keep it glitz in an asymmetrical, burgundy sequin dress with a plunging neckline; lo bheold the Pout Kween as she has our jaws hitting the floor with this look. Chopra on the other hand, was newly married at that time strutted on the show in a bright, neon yellow power suit. She stunned us looking absolutely spectacular and as always, the Desi Girl knows how to take it up a notch.
2) Brown Munde
It’s raining brands! When Badhshah and Diljit Dosanjh are in the frame you know that they will be repping every streetwear brand there is with utmost swag. Their Koffee appearance was a testimony to that. Both the Punjabi Munde rocked their streetwear looks in bright coloured sweaters with pants, sunglasses and Diljit acing his look with a fuschia pink turban staying true to his roots. This look had us swooning.
3) The Ranbir-Ranveer Saga
These boys always make a statement from their movies to their style: it’s worth talking about. Ranbir Kapoor-Ranveer Singh episode has been an absolute laugh riot but can we please appreciate that style? Ranbir was seen in a chic off-white suit that clearly only the Kapoor lad could pull off so well and Ranveer on the other hand won us over with his experimental fashion in wide leg pants and oversized blazer and shirt. A fashion moment, right there, people!
4) Romancing Fashion
Sharukh Khan is a Koffee constant and more or less, he has never branched out or experimented as much. But the King of Romance is known for his effortless and classy style that always stands out. From crisp suits, neatly slick back hair and just that undying charm and killer dimpled smile is enough to have our hearts melting for him as we stare in awe.
5) The Saree Love Affair
Sarees are classic but not many would even dare to show up in a saree on Koffee With Karan: Kajol, Hema Malini, Kokona Sen, Sushmita Sen dared to don gorgeous sarees and looked unbelievably gorgeous. They styled the six yards beautifully and the elegant drapes made them stand out on the Koffee couch.
6) Coupling
Koffee with Karan has seen so many couples on the show and if not couples, if not for couples, we’ve got sneaky confession and well the Koffee Master has made a few couples on the show, from Alia Bhatt‘s confession about wanting to marry Ranbir Kapoor and their dreamy wedding to Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif‘s affinity. Over matches made in heaven, Bollywood prefers matches made on the Koffee couch. Some of our favourite couple fashion moments have to be Rishi Kapoor-Neetu Singh, Mira-Shahid Kapoor and Akshay Kumar-Tiwnkle Khanna tugging at our heartstrings with their heartfelt chemistry and obviously their style files.
