Sequin is our favourite Bollywood trend and no one does it like them. From Alia Bhatt‘s sequin asymmetrical dress to Kareena Kapoor Khan‘s burgundy number to Karan Johar’s funky sequin jackets. From blingy moments to keeping it quirky, our Koffee celebs have nailed their fashion to the T. This year, we hope to see more men don sequin pieces and women add a blingy bit to their look. Hoping for more bling and glam this season.
2) Saree Not Sorry
Sarees are the way to go, they’re classy and they always make fashion statement. Not many have the GUTS to don a saree but not everyone can. From the likes from Kajol, Kareena Kapoor, Sushmita Sen have all donned gorgeous six yards and looked like absolute goddesses that we’re in absolute awe of, through and through. From minimal styling, shimmery tones to sexy silhouettes, our leading ladies have got them all in their kitty.
3) Streetstyle For The Win
Streetstyle looks are gaining momentum and becoming staples in every man’s wardrobe. From rugged jackets, high waisted pinstripe pants, oversized clothing, baggy fits have taken over the fashion world by a storm. And our Bollywood men are second to none when it comes to being trendsetters. The previous season saw all our leading men, branch out, experiment and hop on to the latest styles and just look fantastic for their appearance on the most controversial couch,
4) Suited And Booted
Who said suits are just for men? Ladies were at the forefront donning their best powersuits with trendy cuts, flared styles, popping hues and more to add a feminine touch to a regular suit. From men owning it with their classy looks and women standing just at par with their ravishing fits, suits are our most beloved style and we can’t wait to see more of it on the upcoming season of Koffee With Karan.
5) Print Season
Prints are bold and classy and they are worth the praise. From florals, stripes, animal: all kinds of prints are loved and accepted. We love a printed moment ladies and gentlemen. From our host to the guests, everyone has donned an array of prints and to say we’re spellbound would be an understatement.
6) For The Love Of Monochrome
Monochrome can be risky but if you can pull it off, there’s nothing like it. From neutrals to bright hues, to matching separates, monotone has always found it’s way in Bollywood staples, making it one of our favourite picks. From Deepika Padukone‘s all white attire to Ranbir Kapoor‘s muted neutrals, Rajkumar Rao‘s pure white look and a multitude of more looks. This season, we hope to see a whole lot of monochromes but ditching the neutrals and having fun with the colour palette.
