Karan Johar’s coveted talk show Koffee With Karan Season 7 has officially begun. It premiered on Disney Plus Hotstar at 7 pm today and I have just finished watching this amazing episode. However, I haven’t quite gotten over it yet. Yes, with Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt being at their entertaining best as they sit across from Karan Johar on that Koffee couch, I might have to watch this episode over and over again. I totally loved how much fun Koffee With Karan Season 7’s episode 1 was. While Ranveer being at the top of his energy level was something I was expecting, Alia turned out to be quite the surprise package for me.
Both the Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani stars were crazy, wild and all things fun. While Ranveer called Karan a juicy tamaatar, he’d like to squeeze, Karan also addressed all the trolling he and the show have faced in the last two years. There have been lots of things that I have loved about MyGlamm presents Koffee With Karan Season 7’s episode. However, the 3 best moments for me were…
1. Alia Bhatt dropping some amazing truth bombs
Over the years, we have seen Alia be a regular on Koffee With Karan, however, this season the Brahmastra actress was quite spunky. From talking about fitting into the huge Kapoor clan despite hailing from a nuclear family to Ranbir Kapoor teasing her about little things like telling the pandit to explain the wedding rituals to Alia to killing all hype around suhagraat. Alia was totally on a roll in this one and I couldn’t help but only laugh at the amazing answers she gave. Alia also spoke about her time during Covid and how they were dealing with late Rishi Kapoor‘s demise.
2. Ranveer Singh’s confession of having a different sex playlist
An episode of Koffee With Karan, without some eye-brow-raising confessions, is considered a super dull affair. And as usual, living up to the expectation, Ranveer treated us to his quirks, while he also called KJo his ken doll, he even spoke about how he warmed up with Deepika Padukone‘s family. However, the biggest attention-grabbing moment for me was the Koffee Bingo segment where Ranveer confessed that he has different playlists for having sex. Yes, you read it right and the reference tune the actor gave was super hilarious, but for that, you need to watch the episode. Ranveer also spoke about how he has been told to dress down.
3. Alia’s rapid-fire round
Every year, the rapid-fire round on Koffee With Karan is what stirs up most news. In fact, recently, Karan even told us in an exclusive interview that the questions he as in the rapid-fire round are quite dodgy. And this year too, Alia will get a little stuck in her rapid-fire round where KJo will ask her who she has the best on-screen chemistry with between Ranveer Singh and Varun Dhawan. Choosing to be diplomatic won’t go very well in Alia’s favour as Ranveer will get disappointed with her answer and tell her ‘dosti ke naam par Kalank’, well it’s all fun and play, and thoroughly enjoyable.

A special mention is to Alia Bhatt’s genius of the year moment in the MyGlamm game zone where she started speaking on Karan’s marriage when asked to speak on her own and also Ranveer Singh’s Pammi avatar, I absolutely loved watching two sakhis Alia and Pammi aka Ranveer share the couch. Well, with such a great start to Koffee With Karan Season 7, I am only waiting for the upcoming episodes now.
