Since the time Liger was announced I was looking forward to know more about the Bollywood debut of Vijay Deverakonda. Another aspect of the film that intrigued me was his pairing with Ananya Panday. The song Akdi Pakdi was also the icing on the cake which created a stir on the internet few days back. I couldn’t help but just observe the bond between the lead pair of the film. And today the makers of the film have unveiled Liger‘s trailer on social media and I am so impressed. Going by the looks of it, Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday are set the stage on fire in this adventurous sports drama. The film is also special as it comes from the legendary director Puri Jagannadh with special appearance of boxing legend Mike Tyson. The makers made sure that they are leaving no stone unturned to thrill the audience with the action sequences. All I can say that I am eagerly waiting to witness Liger on August 25 in a cinema hall.

As you can see Vijay Deverakonda plays a kick boxer who has an issue with stammering. On the other hand Ananya Panday portrays a cool chic who also seems to have no problem with violence. South veteran actress Ramya Krishnan plays a daunting mother who encourages her son Liger to always move ahead and fight in life. During the climax of the clip boxing champ Mike Tyson also appears and seems like his character has shades of grey in it.
It will be immensely enjoyable experience to witness the journey of Vijay Deverakonda, who starts as a tea seller and goes on to represent the country at MMA championship. I must say the actor is looking fab in his raw avatar, especially when he displays his chiseled physique. I am curious to know how he performs after Arjun Reddy.
After watching the trailer, I feel Liger is full of high octane stunts, enthralling music and thrilling moments. The movie comes from Karan Johar‘s Dharma Productions and will be releasing in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam languages.
