Sonakshi Sinha, who made her debut in 2010 with Dabangg is on a roll, With back-to-back film lineups, the award winning actress has her hands full. I remember Sonakshi’s performance in her last Disney+ Hotstar- Bhuj: The Pride of India. She was commendable. And now, her brother Kussh S Sinha will direct the actress in a project titled Nikita Roy And The Book Of Darkness. Man, the name itself is spooky!

So I think this film is a special for Sonakshi as it would be the first time, where she is going to be directed by her brother. While Sonakshi will be playing the lead, other actors like Paresh Rawal and Suhail Nayyar are also part of the cast.

Sonakshi is a talented actor. I have always admired her for doing films which she entirely believed in. I have seen her grow as an actor and her journey in cinema. Now, I am going to be a part of it, too. When I found this script, I asked Sonakshi to take a look at it. We both felt drawn to the subject and that’s when we decided to take the plunge and work together. I am looking forward to working with talented artistes such as Paresh Rawal ji, Sonakshi and Suhail Nayyar. It’s also a fabulous opportunity for my team at Kratos Entertainment to collaborate with Nicky Bhagnani and Vicky Bhagnani. They’ve been our friends for years and this project is a natural extension of that relationship. It’s a complete win-win for all of us
It will be interesting to see Sonakshi taking directions from brother on how to emote in a scene. While I believe everyone in Sinha family is blessed with a talent. Sonakshi’s other brother Luv Sinha is also an actor who was seen in movies like Sadiyaan and Paltan.
Nikita Roy and The Book of Darkness is produced by NVB Films, Kratos Entertainment and Nikita Pai Films. The poster of the film was released today and it looks so intense! Though the story of the film is not known, but I think it will be based on a horror genre. The project is expected to release next year.
