The Tajik singer Abdu Rozik became a social media sensation by singing some Hindi songs amazingly well. In June, when Abdu was at the IIFA Awards, his video of singing Papa Kehte Hai with Salman Khan went viral. And this meeting of Abdu Rozik with superstar Salman led to the two collaborating for a film. Yes, in case, you don’t know Abdu Rozik will be starring in Salman Khan’s film Bhaijaan which was formerly titled Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali. Recently the singing sensation was in India and while talking with the media he shared some details about his Bollywood debut.
Talking about his role in Bhaijaan, Abdu Rozik said,
I am very excited to be a part of Bhaijaan. I am playing a gangster and can’t reveal further.
Seeing Rozik as the small Bhaijaan in the film will surely be a delight. Other than this, Rozik is also working on a music video. He is a big admirer of AR Rahman and loves him as a human being. Well, I am sure Rozik is going to win many hearts in Bollywood and while I love watching his videos on social media, seeing him on the screen will be great too.
Bhaijaan also stars Pooja Hegde and has quite a varied star cast including names like Shenaaz Gill, Shreyas Talpade, Aayush Sharma, and many more. Bhaijaan is directed by Farhad Samji and is slated to release around the New Year on 30th December.
