Just got back from a quick trip to London for the Elite Magazine India’s Most Influential Awards 2022 where one of my favorite comics, Nitin Miranni was the host. Definite icing on the cake was catching him at a comedy club in London where he returned after almost 10 years and absolutely slayed the crowd!
In fact, Kevin Hart performed at the same venue – Up The Creek just a few weeks prior so Nitin is in some stellar comic company! His new show called “NRI” deserves its own special if you ask me (Netflix are you listening?!) and had us all in splits. He performed to a packed house with quite a mixed crowd and helped everyone celebrate Independence Day with tears of laughter.
I quite liked his playlist of fun songs curated to warm up the crowd too. My favorite part is always when a comic goes off script and jams with the audience which he did so well, across a variety of topics and catering to all ages.
He even got the Brits in the house to “LOL”, I overheard someone saying, “mate we british dont laugh out loud but you left us no choice… your show was Brilliant”. Yay Nitin!
