Nawazuddin Siddiqui is a versatile artist and his roles throughout his career show his talent. Be it his character with different layers in Manto or the role of Chand Nawab in Bajrangi Bhaijaan, the actor always brings out something unique in the story. Today, the makers of his upcoming film Haddi released the motion teaser and I bet you won’t be able to recognize him.

The video starts with footage of a go down as the titles appear on screen. As the clip progresses the face of the female character occupied the center stage. For a moment I thought, the lady in the character is some actress sitting on a sofa, but after having a closer look I understood that it is Nawazuddin. You can also see the stains of the blood and iron rod near him.
Haddi is a revenge drama. It has been produced by Anandita Studios (Raadhika Nanda, Sanjay Saha) and is directed by Akshat Ajay Sharma, who has co-written the film with Adamya Bhalla. Akshay has worked as a second unit director with films like AK VS AK and Sacred Games. He has also penned the dialogues of Pan India release- Major.
After going through the motion poster, I am sure that Nawazuddin is going to surprise me with something different this time as well. I think this is one of his most never-seen before characters. The motion teaser also says, “Crime has never looked this good before.” Meanwhile Nawaz will also be starring along side Bhumi Pednekar in Afwaah.
The movie will be shot in the locales of Ghaziabad and Noida. As per the reports, Haddi will go on floors today and will be released in 2023. I think this is going to be Nawaz’ another film where he is going to push the envelope with this character.
