When I saw Jayeshbhai Jordaar, I was quite impressed by the unconventional performance of Shalini Pandey. The actress proved her acting mettle when she portrayed a pregnant woman alongside the powerhouse Ranveer Singh. I feel the movie was a dream Bollywood debut of Shalini. And now the actress has put up a beautiful post on her social media, celebrating five years of the Telugu blockbuster – Arjun Reddy.

For the uninitiated, Shalini played Vijay Deverakonda’s love interest in the commercial superhit which made her an overnight sensation and it catapulted her to stardom, instantly.
On the film’s fifth anniversary, Shalini got nostalgic and shared a post on Instagram.
She writes…
This date (August 25) has a significant place in my life. Five years ago, on this very day, my debut film Arjun Reddy released making it one of my most memorable moments. The love and appreciation that I got for my role as Preethi was unprecedented and I will always be grateful for that. I owe everything to Arjun Reddy. A big thank you to my director Sandeep Reddy Vanga for making sure that I had a good time shooting for this.
Shalini also expressed gratitude to her Arjun Reddy the co-star Vijay, who incidentally is gearing up for his new release Liger.
The actress further says…
Another person who helped me sail through my debut film while ensuring that I had fun all along, is my wonderful co-star – Vijay Deverakonda. Thank you Vijay aka Liger for everything! Love and best wishes!”
Well, I must say that was a tremendously heart warming message. It shows how much these co-stars respect each other.
Liger also stars Ananya Panday, Ramya Krishnan, Myke Tyson among others. The film releases on August 25, 2022 in the cinema halls.
