I have always had a very special connection with cinema. And it is all thanks to this amazing world of stories that helped me to get lost inside it. However, in my teenage years came a film called Udaan that changed me for life. It was Rajat Barmecha whose stellar performance in the film left quite an impact on me. While the teenager in me loved how Rohan (his character) lived his life on the edge and faced similar issues that every teenager does, at the same time his elder brotherly stance left me quite impressed. Well, post-Udaan, Rajat has had a rollercoaster ride at the movies until OTT space boomed. And now he is all set to be seen in another film alongside Radhika Madan titled Kacchey Limbu.

But before I tell you all the amazing things Rajat is up to, let me show you the stunning transformation that Rajat has undergone recently. Check out his picture here:

On the film front…

As I said, Rajat will be seen in the film Kacchey Limbu where he and Radhika are siblings. A still from the film was released some time back and now I learn that the film will be shown at the Toronto Indian Film Festival in September. And that’s not the only good news, Rajat has been acing it on the OTT space with some fun web shows. In fact, Rajat’s Instagram space is super happening and inspirational just like many of his on-screen characters.

He is an entrepreneur too…

Rajat and his brother run a cafe in Mumbai called The Barmecha House. Being an entrepreneur has been quite an experience for him, in fact, whenever Rajat is not shooting he makes sure to spend time at this cafe whose idea came from his mom.

He loves to travel…

Another quality about Rajat that I admire is that he loves to travel and explore different parts of the world. The globetrotter in me totally gives him a high five when I see his pictures and videos in the snow, on the hills, as well as in the lap of nature.

He is quite spiritual…

Rajat is surely a happy soul and it is all thanks to his spiritual stance. He is into yoga big time. So, while he keeps his body fit by working out at the gym, he keeps his mind happy through Yoga.

He is also a poet…

When I said, Rajat is quite talented I actually meant it. I must say he lives quite a life, apart from acting, travelling, running a restaurant, and doing yoga, Rajat is also into poetry. And this hobby has been a takeaway from his character in Udaan.

Well, I cannot help but take notes from the amazing life Rajat is leading, juggling so effortlessly with so many things and yet carrying a big smile. More power to you man!
