Ever since I saw the first look of Tamannaah Bhatia starrer Babli Bouncer, I was excited to know more about the film. I regard Madhur Bhandarkar a realistic filmmaker, however, with this film, it seems the director has taken a different route. Disney+ Hotstar released the trailer of Babli Bouncer today, and I am quite fascinated by it.

The clip starts with a village called Fatehpur Beri which is popularly known as the place of bouncers. It is an area where men train to become bouncers. It has a gripping narration by Saurabh Shukla. Then we see Tamannaah’s entry into the frame. After a training session, one of her students offers her a job as a bouncer in the capital.
In another scene she mentions not breaking a promise that she made to her father about not beating anyone. However, she beats the goons black and blue on the streets when they misbehave with a girl. In a nutshell, the trailer shows her journey from being a village bodybuilder to getting a job as a bouncer in Delhi.
The film is scheduled for an Disney+ Hotstar release on September 23. Apart from Tamannaah and Saurabh, the star cast of the film also includes Abhishek Bajaj and Sahil Vaid.
The project has been produced by Star Studios and Junglee Pictures, the concept, story and screenplay are penned by Amit Joshi, Aradhana Debnath and Madhur Bhandarkar.
Apart from this film, the Baahubali star would also be starring with Riteish Deshmukh in a Netflix film Plan A Plan B.
