In the current generation of actors, Ranveer Singh is the biggest superstar. And I only admire him for the amazing performances he delivers on screen, especially, his ’83 is my favourite. Ranveer is clearly on a victory march bagging films after films and awards after awards. Now with more than a decade in this industry, Ranveer is quite happy and secure in his space. But still, the actor has a sense of disbelief when he wakes up every day even after so many years in the industry. Touted as the most bankable actor in today’s time, Ranveer still cannot believe that he is an actor and is living the dream.
Talking about the same, Ranveer says…
I am just grateful that I get to be an actor and that’s actually enough for me. I have always said that it’s a miracle that I even became an actor. These types of experiences are beyond my wildest imagination. Sometimes, it feels surreal. And that feeling continues till date. Everyday, I wake up in disbelief that this is my life – that I am an actor and I get to do these things, collaborate with these talented filmmakers. And it all adds up to an overwhelming amount of gratitude that I have for the opportunities and blessings that I have.
Well, the last few years have truly been remarkable for Ranveer and the years to come will also be so, that I am sure of. In fact, in the near future itself, we will see Ranveer play some very interesting roles in Cirkus as well as in Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. But nothing can match the experience he has had with ’83.
Sharing about the same he says,
It feels surreal and fulfilling in equal measures. At this moment I’m remembering my coach, Mr. Balvinder Singh Sandhu. I really miss him and his contribution to 83, one really can’t describe in words. He’s the heart of 83! You know when we see the emotion that he has attached to that story of 83, to his teammates, you can’t not work out of a very different place in your being. When we, the cast of 83 saw what it meant to Ballu sir, that is what transmitted to all of us.
With soaring to greater heights there is no stopping Ranveer Singh and the humility he carries into his craft makes me admire him even more.
