Brahmastra: Part One Shiva is about to release on Thursday and I am excited to watch it on a big screen. I am also intrigued about watching the real life couple, Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt together on screen. It is not the first time real life jodi is acting in a movie together. In the past we have seen power couples of Bollywood share the screen space, let’s have a look at them:

Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt
One of the most adorable pairs of Bollywood, Alia and Ranbir married this year in April. The couple started dating while shooting for Brahmastra. In KWK, the actress shares how she had adapted the culture of Kapoor family, read here. None-the-less, I am too excited to see the powerhouse of talents on screen for the first time together. I am sure they are gonna create magic.
Saif Ali Khan-Kareena Kapoor
Another desirable jodi of the Hindi film industry is Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor. Their love story started on the sets of Tashan. Together, they have been featured in films like, LOC Kargil, Kurbaan, Omkara, Agent Vinod.
Ranveer Singh-Deepika Padukone
The two are the power couple of Hindi cinema. Popularly known as DeepVeer, they have starred in feature films like 83, Bajirao Mastani, Ram-Leela, Padmaavat. However, they will also be seen together in Rohit Shetty’s Cirkus.
Riteish Deshmukh-Genelia D’Souza
The sweetest of all are these two. They met each other while filming Tujhe Meri Kasam in 2002. Both of them dated for around 9 years before getting married. Together, they were seen in films like Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya, Mauli, Masti. They will be also seen in Shaad Ali’s directorial Mister Mummy.
Amitabh Bachchan-Jaya Bhaduri
They have been one of the most respected couples of B-Town. The two had met in Pune in 1970 when Jaya Bhaduri was already a star and Amitabh was still struggling to make it as an actor. However they featured in films like Guddi, Abhimaan, Chupke Chupke, Bansi Birju, Ek Nazar, Zanjeer, Sholay, Silsila, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. They have been strongly together for around 4 decades.
Being a film buff, I would love to see all of them in many movies together in the coming years.
