I have excessively oily skin, and it’s a real menace. It is oilier than the paratha your grandmother makes for you when you visit her after months! So naturally, my entire skincare regime usually focuses on how to regulate oil production and control it. Excessive oily skin can wreak massive havoc on your skin. From clogged pores that lead to nasty breakouts to your makeup melting off, the list never ends. And nobody really enjoys that, no?

Being a beauty writer, I get to try out my fair share of skincare products. Some do a stellar job and deliver what they promise, while others don’t. Recently, I was lucky enough to get my hands on a few goodies by isClinical and boy was I surprised. I decided to switch up on my skincare routine and used only a couple of products from isClinical. To be honest, my skin kinda needed the detox because I was using a barrage of products which led to a cocktail of actives being mixed. Sometimes, it’s great to give your skin the break it needs.

Here’s what I used –

isClinical, Cleansing Complex

The best part about isClinical’s Cleansing Complex is that it happens to be a massive multitasker. Not only does it cleanse your face, but it also acts like a toner and a makeup remover. As if that wasn’t enough, this product can be left on your skin for a little longer than usual in order for it to double up as a mask too. The Cleansing Complex comes with salicylic acid, which is the ultimate ingredient for oily skin. It protects your skin against environmental damage, minimizes pores and gently exfoliates. I use this in my AM and PM routine for best results.

isClinical, HydraCool Serum

Alright, everyone knows that isClinical’s HydraCool Serum is *that* girl. Being someone with hella oily skin, its difficult to come across a product with hyaluronic acid that doesn’t leave residue on my skin. But the award-winning HydraCool Serum is an intensely hydrating serum that comes powerpacked with hyaluronic acid, centella asiatica that soothes inflammed skin and mushroom extract too. It has an extremely lightweight formula which gives your skin the perfect shot of hydration.

isClinical, Active Serum

Ever come across a skincare product that does it all? Meet isClinical’s Active Serum. A favourite recommended by physicians all over the world, this serum works like a charm for every skin type out there. It helps you deal with active acne, battles blemishes left behind by the active acne and also effectively diminishes the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. I began using this thrice a week in my PM routine and then slowly built it up to everyday. My active acne has actually seen minor improvement and I couldn’t be happier.

isClinical, Eclipse SPF 50+

Sunscreens by isClinical are certainly a cult favourite and the Eclipse SPF 50 is no less. It is a broad spectrum, all physical sunscreen which provides intense protection against UVA and UVB rays at the same time. With a blend of Titanium Dioxide and micronized Zinc Oxide mixed with nourishing Vitamin E, this SPF has a non-greasy finish which settles into your skin like a dream!
