Since yesterday I have been singing the song of Bigg Boss’ return on television. It’s that time of the year again where all the frenzy around Bigg Boss 16 has kick-started. Just yesterday, I shared with you the very first announcement promo of Bigg Boss 16 where host Salman Khan revealed how things are going to be upside down this season. Earlier today I also shared a BTS video from the promo shoot where we got some glimpses of how the house might look this year. My guess is, that it’s gothic. And like I said, I will dig deeper to get you a tentative list of contestants we might see this season my little birds have brought in names pouring from popular shows and the initial lineup looks very impressive.
While I know of some top names from the TV world who are in talks with Colors TV to be a part of Bigg Boss 16, I will only tell you about them, when I have some more details. But for now…
Here’s a list of actors who have been reportedly approached for the show:
1. Faisal Shaikh aka Mr Faisu
The social media influencer turned actor who we are currently seeing on Khatron Ke Khiladi 12 and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10 is also in talks for Bigg Boss 16. However, as per reports in Bombay Times, it is said that Faisal Shaikh‘s entry into the house is not yet concrete and the deal will only be finalized based on how things go with Jhalak. So there is a high possibility that Faisal might enter the house as a wild card contestant.
2. Shubhangi Atre
Actress Shubhangi Atre who is most loved as Angoori Bhabhi on Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hain has also been approached by the channel for this season. However, there are no confirmations to this, but if Shubhangi comes on board, this season will surely be filled with lots of entertainment.
3. Tina Datta
Tina Datta is surely a popular name in the TV industry, we have seen her in shows like Uttran, Daayan, etc. and now a report in Bombay Times suggests that Tina is amongst the contenders who have been approached by the channel.
4. Jannat Zubair
Actress Jannat Zubair Rehmani has had a long-term association with Colors TV, and now that she emerged as quite a strong contender on Khatron Ke Khiladi 12 as well, there are reports pointing at Jannat being on Salman Khan’s reality show.
5. Nusrat Jahan
Politician Nusrat Jahan is quite active on social media and this young mother has received lot many acting offers in the past too, but this one seems to be a big opportunity. And if the reports are true then Bigg Boss 16 is going to be quite a fun watch.
6. Fahmaan Khan
Imlie actor Fahmaan Khan recently quit the show and several media reports state that he is in talks with the channel for Bigg Boss 16. In fact, some even reported that serious negotiations are on, so I guess it’s a wait-and-watch.
7. Raj Kundra
Actress Shilpa Shetty Kundra’s husband, businessman Raj Kundra was in the news last year. And now a report in ANI states that Raj is in talks with the makers for Bigg Boss 16, however, the businessman is contemplating being on the reality show.
8. Nisha Pandey
While in Bigg Boss 15 it was Afsana Khan and Neha Bhasin, this year it might be Bhojpuri singer and actress Nisha Pandey who will fill the singer spot. She has also been approached for the show. A report in Times Of India states, that Nisha has cleared her virtual meeting round with the channel and has now been invited for a one-on-one interview this week. If all goes well, Nisha will get on board for the show soon.
Well, while these are all yet to be confirmed, one name that we know is for sure on BB16 is LockUpp winner Munawar Faruqui. In fact, what I also hear is that Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya and her husband Vivek Dahiya have also been approached to be on the show. Well, with less than a month left, I guess you and I will have to wait and watch. Stay tuned!
