I feel Dream Girl was a game changer film for Ayushmann Khurranna. The project has been one of his biggest grossers till date and was a complete joyride. And when I heard about its sequel in making, I couldn’t contain my excitement. Today the makers of the project, Balaji Motion Pictures shared the teaser of the film with an interesting video. Apart from Ayushmann, the cast includes new additions like Ananya Panday and many more actors. The film is about to release next year on June 29, 2029 during Eid.

The clips starts with an interesting premise when you can see Ayushmann is getting furious because of the current situation in Bollywood. The topics like Boycott Bollywood, south vs north, films not working in theaters etc, come up in front of the protagonist. And then the voice of the announcement comes from behind. It looks like the actor is going to reprise his role of Pooja and Ananya Panday will be his love interest in the film.
Apart from them, the cast features seasoned actors like Annu Kapoor, Paresh Rawal, Vijay Raaz, Manoj Joshi, Rajpal Yadav, Seema Pahwa, Manjot Singh and Abhishek Banerjee.
Well, I feel this time it is going to be double the entertainment. This is Ayushmann’s second collaboration with Ekta Kapoor. It is written and directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa.
The film is going to be released on the same date as Salman Khan starrer Tiger 3. The Maneesh Sharma directorial also stars Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi in the prominent roles.
Meanwhile Ayushamann is also looking forward to the release of Doctor G with Rakul Preet next year. On the other hand, Ananya will star in Kho Gaye Hum Kahan along with Siddhant Chaturvedi and Adarsh Gourav.
