From the time I have seen the trailer of Bigg Boss 16 , it is becoming a task to wait till 1st October for the reality show to begin. Apart from the wait, there are also talks about Salman Khan charging a whopping Rs. 1000 crore for the current season of the show to host. But on the contrary, reports in mid-day and koimoi suggest that the actor has slashed his fee and he will be paid less than the last season.

The countdown for the most loved celebrity reality show has begun. There is also a conjecture on which celebrities would be entering the house this time. Apart from that what grabs my attention is the fees of Salman. If reports are to be believed then the actor will be taking home more than a whopping 1000 crore. Well, that’s a humongous amount, right?
While I was trying to find out the truth, I found out that there has not been any official confirmation on Salman’s fee. As per mid-day, the Dabangg star was paid Rs. 350 crore for hosting Bigg Boss 15. It also mentions that Bigg Boss OTT will not be returning with the second season due to the poor ratings of the last year. As far as Salman’s payment is concerned, the actor is supposed to take a pay cut this time.
A report in koimoi also claims that the Tiger 3 star will take home Rs. 43.75 Crore for one episode of Bigg Boss 16.
As far as the contestants are concerned, several reports are doing rounds that Munawar Faruqui, Faisal Shaikh, Shubhangi Atre, Fahmaan Khan, Nusrat Jahan, Flora Saini, among others have been approached for the show.
