The biggest Indian reality show, Bigg Boss 16 has officially begun. While I have seen episode one, the Bigg Boss fan in me couldn’t help but enjoy every moment of the show. For those who don’t know, a few things are different on BB16 this year, the biggest of them is that Bigg Boss will also play the game. Now that contestants are inside the house, I am waiting to see the drama unfold on Colors TV every Monday-Friday at 10 pm, while on Saturday and Sunday at 9:30 pm. Well, there is a 24X7 live feed also available on Voot, I will totally watch that. But before that let me tell you how much I liked the first episode. I must say the contestant list is quite interesting. For me, the biggest highlights of the episode were Shalin Bhanot’s banter with Salman, Sumbul Touqeer’s performance on Chaka Chak, and even Abdu Rozik’s cuteness. But what’s interesting also is that the game began right from day one. Bigg Boss gave Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia a power where she was supposed to allot beds and duties to other contestants, and when she faltered at that, he even expressed his displeasure. Following this Nimrit changed the course of action, however, certain female contestants didn’t seem very happy with Nimrit’s authority.
First with Manya Singh and then with Archana Gautam, Nimrit locked horns right on day one. Especially when Nimrit asked Archana to change her room, the politician refused following which the drama of the season began. Looks like the house is turning against Archan right from day one, however, Abdu’s cuteness is also winning lot many hearts.
This is not it, while we saw a sense of friction between Tina Datta and Sreejita De, Sajid Khan’s entry on the show also turned out to be quite a surprise. Well, lot many surprises are yet to come, the biggest of them is in tomorrow’s episode when Bigg Boss announces that there will be no wake-up song this season.
Well, the game has just begun and there is much more to look forward to, so watch this space for more.
