Janhvi Kapoor in Good Luck Jerry did a terrific job as the titular character. The Roohi star is now gearing up for her next release. Today, she shared the teaser as well as the first look of her upcoming film Mili. Produced by Boney Kapoor, Mili narrates a tale of Mili Nautiyal, who is a 24 year old B.Sc. Nursing graduate. The film is an official Hindi remake of Malayalam thriller Helen. When I saw the teaser, I got intrigued by the story.

As the teaser clip starts, we can see Mili cutting rolls of the tape while she shivers in a storage freezer. A voice can be heard in the background on a police radio about someone missing for four hours. Then we can see the complete face of Janhvi affected by the severe cold. She is facing a challenge to stay alive in this situation. During a moment, you will also see the temperature going beyond minus 16 degrees. You will also be able to see the faces of Sunny Kaushal and Manoj Pawah in the short video. Both are anxious about finding her. The teaser concludes with a flashback shot of Mili keeping a packet of milk in a freezer.

Mili is a survival thriller based on true events. The film’s music is composed by AR Rahman while the lyrics have been penned by Javed Akhtar. The film is directed by Mathukutty Xavier, who also helmed the original one. The director had also won Best Debut Director Filmfare Award for his work for the same film.
After watching the teaser, I am excited to watch it in the cinema hall on November 4.
