We have come across lots of cases where fans have gone to crazy lengths for their favorite celebrity, and many of these incidents have been shocking. Even though there have been times when these actions come purely out of admiration and love, sometimes it’s not okay. Cricketer Virat Kohli also faced something very similar recently where his privacy was invaded and I am glad he called out this craziness and expressed his displeasure over the same. Even his wife actress Anushka Sharma called out this incident stating how people need to exercise a little self-control. In case you don’t know, a video of Virat’s hotel room has surfaced online, where all his personal belongings in the room have been shot.

I understand that fans get very happy and excited seeing their favourite players and get excited to meet them and I’ve always appreciated that. But this video here is appalling and it’s made me feel very paranoid about my privacy. If I cannot have privacy in my own hotel room, then where can I really expect any personal space at all?? I’m NOT okay with this kind of fanaticism and absolute invasion of privacy. Please respect people’s privacy and not treat them as a commodity for entertainment.

Have experienced few incidents where some fans have shown no compassion or grace in the past but this really is the worst thing. An absolute disgrace and violation of a human being and anyone who sees this and think “celebrity ho! toh deal karna padega” should know that you are also a part of the problem. Exercising some self control helps everyone. Also, if this is happening in your bedroom then where is the line?
In the past too we have seen Virat and Anushka being very private about their personal space, especially when their daughter Vamika’s pictures were leaked online. And it is indeed sad to see them experience something as unfortunate as this.
