Over the last few years, we have witnessed many visual spectacles on the 70mm, and film after film it only gets better. What started with Baahubali has only gotten stellar with Brahmastra, now another film that is gearing up to visually stun us is Adipurush. Directed by Om Raut the film stars Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, Saif Ali Khan, and Sunny Singh in pivotal roles. The film’s teaser was recently released and it was quite a treat to watch, and looks like the makers are in no mood to compromise on quality. This is exactly why they have now pushed the film’s release date by a few months.

As for the date change the team took to social media to share that the VFX of the film requires more time. As per certain media reports, this delay will cause the team more than 100 crores, but I am sure it will all be worth it to experience it all on screen.

Adipursh is based on Ramayana where Prabhas plays Raghav while Kriti will be seen as Janaki. Saif Ali Khan is Lankesh, whereas Sunny will be seen as Laxman. I still am quite smitten by the teaser and now that the makers are only making the film the best version of itself, I am eagerly waiting. Adipurush was initially going to release in January 2023. Produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar of T-series, Om Raut, Prasad Sutar, and Rajesh Nair of Retrophiles, the film will release in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam.
