I don’t remember when was the last time I laughed out so loud, but when I watched the trailer of Cirkus, it was hard to control. Yes, the Ranveer Singh starrer produced by Rohit Shetty is all set the release on the big screens on 23rd December, but before that the film’s trailer has been released and it is simply top-notch. As the name suggests the film is one mad circus that you would totally want to witness, what’s even amazing is that it is set in the 60s era, looks quite colorful, and has a happening vibe. In fact, when I watched the trailer, even though I was very impressed with Ranveer, it was the look and feel and the way Rohit has put it all together that left me charmed. Alongside Ranveer, we will also see Pooja Hegde and Jacqueline Fernandez as the leading ladies. We even see Varun Sharma in quite an interesting avatar.

I am so impressed at the magnitude of this film because I can see how after building an amazing cop universe, Rohit Shetty is now constructing a comedy universe for all of us. I say so, because Cirkus is a reunion of many characters from Rohit’s previous films, be it an All The Best or even the Golmaal franchise. As per the Cirkus trailer, there is so much happening at the same time that it is hard to even gauge a rough story, but yes, we do see Ranveer as an artist who works at a circus and he has some special connection with electricity. I have to say, the writing is brilliant, especially the punches that come on us are quite hilarious. But for me the high point in the trailer was Deepika Padukone, she might be making a cameo in just a song, but oh my god, she looked stunning!
The supporting cast of the film includes Johnny Lever, Sanjay Mishra, Ashwini Kalsekar, Vrajesh Hirjee, and many more. In all honesty, I feel Cirkus is the perfect family entertainer to end the year with a bang. I am very excited to watch this film on the big screen around Christmas.
