It is no doubt that superstar Akshay Kumar is the most bankable star in Bollywood. In fact, he has so many releases in a year that it only amazes me to learn how he manages to juggle between shoots. Well, it is a commendable quality and with it looks like there is no stopping Khiladi Kumar. Yes, now Akshay has geared up to don the avatar of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in Mahesh Manjrekar‘s Marathi period drama Vedat Marathe Veer Daudle Saat. Akshay took to Instagram to share the news about him starting the first schedule of the film in Mumbai.

The film is not just a story or a war cry, it is the success story of the Hindavi Swarajya and the story of a glorious and selfless sacrifice like no other. Other than Akshay Kumar, the film comprises of an ensemble cast consisting of Jay Dudhane, Utkarsha Shinde, Vishal Nikam, Virat Madke, Hardik Joshi, Satya, Nawab Khan, and Praveen Tarde.
The Mahesh Manjrekar directorial is produced by Vaseem Qureshi and is all set to release on Diwali 2023 in Marathi, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. On the Bollywood front, we will see Akshay in Selfiee, Oh My God 2, Capsule Gill, and the remake of Soorarai Pottru. With such an exciting line-up, I am sure Akshay will rule our hearts in 2023 as well.
