In recent times, the music genre has evolved greatly with huge influences from the 90s pop culture bouncing back. And while I love to watch independent music videos going big, storytelling is what I find the most fascinating. A few moments ago, I just watched a song called Barsaat presented by Jackky Bhagnani under the Jjust Music label. The song has been sung and composed by Kushagra Thakur, who also features in the video alongside Riva Arora. Well, this romantic number built on the promises of high school romance got me so nostalgic about the good old days.

What I loved the most about the song, is how beautifully it manages to touch your soul. The lyrics are so well written, and the feel is too good. In fact, it made me feel those butterflies you get when you fall in love for the first time. I even liked the visuals of the song, it totally adds to the vibe of teenage romance the song portrays.
All in all, Barsaat is a sweet romantic number that will surely pull your heartstrings. For me, it is the best love song I have heard this year. It’s out on YouTube and you surely got to watch it.
