After the roaring success of Badlapur, Director Sriram Raghavan is now going to team up with the megastar Dharmendra Deol, for his next directorial project – IKKIS. This exciting announcement was made on the occasion of megastar Dharmendra’s 86th birthday. As we’ve seen in the past, there’s one thing Sriram can never go wrong with and it is blending strong content with quality entertainment. And Badlapur is the finest example of that.
That is not all, it is a double win for this national award winning director as he teams up with Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films for his latest film IKKIS which is a war-drama based on the life of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal PVC. He is the youngest recipient of the Param Vir Chakra who lived an exemplary life. With the number of war films hitting the screen next year, it would be interesting to see how this one sets itself apart.
The film will also start the thespian himself along with the handsome Agastya Nanda headlining it. This war drama is set to hit the screen sometime next year and I cannot wait to watch the magic of Sriram unravel on the big screen once again.
