After riding the Hollywood wave with Death on the Nile, Ali Fazal is back to Bollywood with his next ‘Metro In Dino‘, as he join the star cast Sara Ali Khan and Adity Roy Kapur. This film is a sequel of the ever iconic ‘Life In A Metro.’ The film is a anthology of smaller heartwarming stories intertwined with each other, and Ali plays the lead in one of those.
I am already star struck by the cast, but to add to it, we also have Anurag Basu directing the film. Have my hopes high for this one surely! We know the storyteller Anurag is, and an anthology is just the he needs to create magic on screen with a talented cast like this one. We have also seen Anurag do a remarkable job in ‘Ludo‘ conjoining 4 different stories bringing all of it together at a certain point.

Anurag had been planning to make the sequel for a long time but it was during the first lockdown during the pandemic that he got an idea. He started working on the script and simultaneously his search for the casting began. It’s going to be a 4 part film linking to each other at some point.
Life in a Metro set the bar too high with its iconic songs, and I hope to see the magic continue with this one. And not to forget the powerful star cast it had starring Dharmendra, Kay Kay Menon, Irrfan Khan, Konkona Sen Sharma and many more remarkable stars in the lead roles.
