The Bigg Boss 16 house is a little different than usual as this week’s heavy tasks from nominations to ration took place. Sajid Khan and his mandali who I thought was in power, seem to be falling apart. If you missed the episode, read Bigg Boss 16 Day 74 Live Written Updates here. Priyanka Chahar Choudhary and Archana Gautam fight again but, the frenemies surprised me. New friendships are budding in the house which is a new sight to see.
With the current situation happening in the house, the other opposite team to the mandali believes that the house has been shaken as they are only seven together and the other contestants from the mandali are nine in total. Vikkas Manaktala believes that the mandali has more power because when they start speaking none of the other voices are heard but, I disagree because Priyanka’s voice echoes in the house when necessary. Shalin Bhanot calls the mandali school kids as they use each other’s shoulders and go ahead in the game.
The frenemies surprise me every time, Archana and Priyanka have repeatedly fought with each other and yet have returned to become friends and now again they are seen having a rough patch in their friendship. This argument begins with Archana holding Priyanka fully responsible for the food being too spicy for Abdu Rozik, and this quickly escalates into them shouting at each other. On Archana’s hilarious comebacks to Priyanka in which she says, ‘Talk to my leg,’ the mandali gang and other contestants enjoy it as much as I did. In the end, they obviously patch up when Priyanka apologized to Archana and they hug each other which is kinda sweet.
The clash between the new captains was the one thing I was looking forward to seeing. While Sumbul Toqueer and Tina Datta are settling into their new friendship and sharing the captaincy, Tina is having issues with Soundarya Sharma. Tina is annoyed that Soundarya keeps interrupting her while they are delivering instructions to the contestants. For a moment, I thought maybe this was going to be a quiet week with proper captaincy and no problems, but now that I see the captains fighting amongst themselves, this has just gotten more interesting.
In between the existing drama, the ration tasks take place where Sajid believes that the tables in the task were too tall for Abdu to reach and it’s unfair for him to play it. Bigg Boss gets a little mad as MC Stan and Sajid didn’t take part in the task and still have kept opinions about being unfair to Abdu. Bigg Boss clears it by asking Abdu whether he had fun to which Abdu agrees. This disappoints Sajid in a way, I can honestly see Sajid being disappointed with Abdu. Later on, Vikkas also explains that he should only plays his game and not let anyone influence him.
Apart from all his, there are newfound friendships in the house, Shalin Bhanot has been away from Tina and now he has made Vikkas his friend with whom he discusses about the happenings in the house and Vikas gives him his blunt opinions. There is also Shalin’s new bestie, Priyanka whose nails he paints. I can’t wait to see more of these.
