After the amazing success of Shershaah, Sidharth Malhotra has certainly been riding high on success. But what I have also observed is that there are a lot of patriotic roles that seem to have fallen onto the actor’s plate for the coming year. In fact, Sidharth will kickstart the new year playing a RAW Agent in Mission Majnu. Yesterday, the film’s teaser was dropped, and watching it only left me impressed with Sid’s action-packed stance. The teaser also left me very curious to know more about this unsung hero.

The film also stars Rashmika Mandanna who we see dressed up as a bride in the teaser. The story is set in the 1971 period of the Indo-Pak war, we see the storyline built on the premises of Pakistan planning a nuclear attack on India to take revenge. And to protect his country from this, Sidharth sets on a mission. For me, there are two reasons for being excited about this film’s release. One is that it stars two brilliant actors like Sidharth and Rashmika, secondly, Sid’s action-packed stance is quite admirable. Other than Mission Majnu, we will also see Sid do some stellar action in Indian Police Force and Yodha.
Mission Majnu is directed by Santanu Baagchi and produced by Ronnie Screwvala, the action thriller is slated to release on 20th January on Netflix. Well, I am very eager to learn more about this film, and even more to see Sidharth and Rashmika share screenspace together.
