Hits that got you grooving at parties, weddings or just by yourself cozied up in your room. From Dholida to Aafat, here’s the playlist of all 2022 hits, to get you started on your year end celebrations.
Aafat – Liger
Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Pandey definitely rose temperatures with this one, the sensous moves made sure you cannot get your eyes off them. Playing in the sand, with beach hair on, it spelled Aafat in every sense.
Manike – Thank God
This song which was a remake and sung in Hindi, really hit off on reels and became a ear worm for everyone who scrolled through reels in their past time. Nora Fatehi looks angelic while Sidharth Malhotra looked dashing as ever dancing to the tunes.
Naatu Naatu – RRR
Not only was this a smashing hit, it has also been nominated at the 2023 Academy Awards under Best Original Song Category. It makes for the perfect party song and get people off their seats. The thumping beats really get you charged up!
Doobey – Gehraiyaan
The film received mixed reviews, but the song was a smashing hit. It made you sway to its tune, and how can one miss out on the sizzling chemistry between Siddhant Chaturvedi and Deepika Padukone. There’s no night at a club that does not have this on its playlist.
Dholida – Gangubai Kathiawadi
The roar this song caused on the internet is something no other song could this year. The 130M+ views are a proof of that. From creators on Instagram, to garba nights, everyone was smitten by the hook step. Or more like, they were smitten by Gangu!
The Punjaabban – JugJugg Jeeyo
This certainly was the go to wedding track of the year. Not everyone these days, does justice to a remake, but this sure did. With its popping beats, this song made sure, everyone in the room was up on their feet. Varun Dhawan and Anil Kapoor truly brought out the punjaabbans in us.
Title Track – Bhool Bulaiyya 2
The original was a chartbuster for sure, this one was no far behind. The really oomph-ed up the track to make it your go-to song at a party. The ultimate 2022 playlist would not be complete without this track on it. Karthik Aaryan also added the perfect swag to make this song a whole package.
Thumkeshwari – Bhediya
Kriti Sanon‘s thumka surely made some head turns. This item song completes my playlist of the ultimate 2022 songs. We also see a cameo my Shraddha Kapoor, possibly hinting at Stree? Only time will tell.
Current Laga Re – Cirkus
With some really catchy beats, and unique hook steps, this song is sure to make you play it on repeat. One thing’s for sure, it is the next party anthem this festive season. Which is why this electrifying song deserves a spot on our 2022 playlist.
Kesariya – Brahmastra
The internet showered all its love on this song, and how! The film was quite a blockbuster and almost all the songs were a hit among the audience. The internet however were torn in two over the ‘love storiya‘ in the lyrics.
Yeh Zindagi – Monica O My Darling
Who said OTT couldn’t produce great soundtracks? Monica O My Darling proved them wrong with great numbers. It was these songs that truly kept the movie alive and the viewers on their feet at all times. The chase, the suspense, the drama were heightened 10 times with this soundtrack.
Now that you have a playlist ready, it is time to collect some friends and put on those dancing shoes. You can’t let this one hell of a playlist that I curated, go to waste!
