It looks like 2023 will be a great year for Sidharth Malhotra as he gives us the first release of the year along with actress Rashmika Mandanna. And let me tell you, the spy-thriller Mission Majnu will totally give you goosebumps. I just saw the film’s trailer and I am very impressed to see the many avatars Sidharth is donning. But you know, I am also very curious to learn more about the story of this unsung spy who put his life at risk for his country. The beauty of Mission Majnu’s trailer is that it leaves me with so many questions, what it left me wondering was what happens to Rashmika-Sidharth’s love story, does he betray her? Well, we will only learn when we see the film.

Directed by Shantanu Baagchi and produced by Ronnie Screwvala the spy thriller shows Sidharth as an informer who heads on a mission to save the country from a possible nuclear attack. From donning different roles for his mission to indulge in some high-octane action Sidharth has left me very impressed. The story is set in the 1971 period of the Indo-Pak war, we see the storyline built on the premises of Pakistan planning a nuclear attack on India to take revenge. And to protect his country from this, Sidharth sets on a mission. This is the first time, Sidharth and Rashmika will be seen sharing screen space.
Now that I am impressed, I am waiting for the film to release on Netflix India on the 20th of January.
