Any millennial would have a special place in their heart for the film Dhoom, and I am on that list. Yes, being a part of the rage that film was back in my day, I know what John Abraham means when he says that we can see his character in Pathaan carry the same stance. Well, John played quite the menacing baddie in Dhoom, so when I saw him in the trailer of his film with Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone, I had been looking forward to his performance. Gladly the wait is not very long now, for Pathaan releases next week.

Jim is cool. Jim is dangerous and Jim brings back the old John Abraham from Dhoom! I totally love the action sequences of Pathaan because most of them are mobile. One sequence was of course on motorcycles in the snow, one was on a truck so again we were moving, the third is in the air which is wow, fantastic. So, each one was in movement and they are fantastic.

Having said all of this Pathaan marks SRK’s return to the big screen after four years, the film has been directed by Siddharth Anand and produced by Aditya Chopra under the Yash Raj Films banner. This is the first project under YRF’s spy universe and I am waiting for more to come in this space. Having said that, I am all set to see this film on 25th January.
