There might not be a Masaba Masaba season 3 yet, but Masaba Gupta ‘s love story got it’s finale in real-life, as she tied knot with Satyadeep Mishra, whom she met at the sets of her biographical Netflix drama- Masaba Masaba. In an intimate court wedding, the couple celebrated with their close friends and family. Remember a bridalwear situation Masaba faced in the show which turned out as a big hit? well, her own wedding ensemble as the bride is even grander with a medley of candy colours, traditional motifs, artistic elements, vintage jewellery and lots of love. Both Masaba and Satyadeep wore the new bridal collection from ‘House of Masaba‘ and as Masaba herself describes the intricacies behind her outfit via Instagram, she writes, “In the Barfi Pink ‘Paan-Patti’ lehenga paired with two dupattas – one in a Lime Green Wallflower Print dupatta with a sequined border & the other with ‘open hearts’ embellished on it in rani pink. The custom border has the first ever Masaba Motif – ‘the palm’ & the ‘chidiya’ which celebrates the union of tradition & freedom”.

In an enhancement of the old-world’s maharani style with fresh contemporary notes, Masaba has curated an inspiring bridal look which highlights the traditional charm of Indian weddings. For jewellery she opted to wear her mother, Neena Gupta’s collection that is vintage and verily matches with Masaba’s personal style. What caught everyone’s attention and I believe shall dictate bridal trends now, is her Chaand-sitara head motif. On her gold hair-adornments, Masaba says, “I wanted a customised ‘Chand Taara’ inspired by South Indian headgears because the sun is energy – the protector & giver of life. And the various phases of the moon affect us in ways we don’t even recognise We are driven by nature & energised by it. May we never forget that”.

Onto her makeup look: Masaba’s skin like makeup with a diffused glow and shines from within. Her deep pink blush and a rosy lip, reflects the hues of her lehenga. For the eyes she opted for a smudged kajal that enhances her eye shape, seeming more define and elongated. The brows are kept naturally brushed, complementing the minimal theme. Her mid parted, sleek hair add grace and grandiose to the entire ensemble, making it wholesome.
