K Vishwanath the legendary actor, passed away on 2nd February at a private hospital in Hyderabad. He had been suffering from age-related ailments for quite some time and succumbed to them this Thursday. This actor-director was a five time national award winner and quite renowned for his work down south.
He is now survived by his wife Jaya Lakshmi, three sons, and a daughter. He started his career with being an assistant director in a Tamil film. Some of his finest works include Swathi Muthyam, Sirivennela, Shankarabharanam, and others. Actors who paid tribute to the legend included Mammoottyy, A.R Rahman, Jr. NTR and many more.
