I remember how closer to Pathaan‘s release people were saying that this Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham film will go down in history. Now that I see that actually happening, I can only feel proud about this feat. This film from YRF’s spy universe has been ruling hearts and even two weeks later it is rock-steady at the Box Office with its gross worldwide collection standing at Rs 888 crores. With this, the Siddharth Anand directorial has become the highest-grossing Hindi film in the history of cinema.

On its second Thursday, the Shah Rukh Khan starrer collected 5.95 crore nett in India (Hindi – 5.75 crore, All Dubbed versions – 0.20 crore). With this, the second-week collection of Pathaan stands at 94.75 crore nett in India (Hindi: 91.50, dubbed: 3.25 crore). Globally, in two weeks, Pathaan has recorded $41.02 million in the overseas territories alone, while nett collection in India stands at 458.90 crore (Hindi – 442.50 crore, Dubbed – 16.40 crore). This makes the total worldwide gross earning stand at Rs 888 crore (India gross: 551 crore, overseas: 337 crore).

I must say, the love that Pathaan has received is quite immense, in fact, a few days back when John also spoke about a prequel on his character from the film, I thought it was a great idea. Having said that, I am only waiting to see what records other films from Aditya Chopra‘s spy universe break.
