What is it that Kartik Aaryan cannot do at this point? He has given us a variety of performances in the past year, from Freddy to Shehzada, I doubt there is a genre he won’t be good at. My favourite performance of his was Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, alongside Tabu and Kiara Advani. The energy he brought to the screen was what stole the show for me. If it was anyone who could’ve taken on the baton from Akshay Kumar, for his performance in Bhool Bhulaiyaa part one, it was Kartik without a doubt.
Kartik today surprised his fans with an exciting announcement, of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, coming to the big screen on Diwali 2024. Part 2 of the film ended with them shutting the door of the forbidden room, but the teaser of part 3 starts off with him saying ‘Darwaza band hote hi hai, taaki ek din phirse khule.‘ Not does it just sound spooky, but it even looked extremely spooky to see Kartik seated on the rocking chair where Tabu’s ghost character sat in the previous part. It is then followed by him looking into the screen and warning the audience that he not only speaks to ghosts but also gets possessed by them.

I am very thrilled to catch this eerie avatar of Kartik, and also excited to see how the maunjalika plot takes place this time around. And I so hope to see them bring back Tabu’s character. The film is set to be directed by Anees Bazmee and produced by Bhushan Kumar. Make sure you catch in on the big screen in 2024. We know the wait is a little long, but it surely will be worth it!
