The celebrated designer duo- Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla released their fashion film named, ‘Mera Noor Hai Mashhoor’ last night, as they hosted the premier event. The gilded and glittery facade was graced by the designers’ fashion and bollywood connoisseurs and friends. With a memo of OTT- all the attendees rose to serve finest looks, living to the occasion and theme. The mammoth of couture display is set to take you “on on an indulgent journey that enchants as much as it charms”, as described in the instagram caption. The mighty pair donned all black, lustrous garments, with symbolic and significant embellishments and accessories.
The revolutionary film, starring Huma Qureshi, Aashim Gulati, supermodel Ujjwala Raut, Tarun Arora and Uorfi Javed along with 40 people, showcased 150 ensembles in all their glory. With bold and palpable emotions, the film is an ode to love, lust & luxury, enamoured with diversified inclusivity by evoking the fluidity of wearable art. From wildin’ prints, 70’s glitter fetish to a goth-core the fashion builds emotions in aesthetic cores and finally elevates to a heavenly abode. The film aims to celebrate the power of one’s luminous, divine self. There is a certain melody of colours struck by the play of lights and shadows which is enhanced through the indie-pop song by Burudu.
