Inside The Fairytale Wedding Of Alanna Panday & Her Custom Designer Ensembles

Kicking off the celebrations with a Mehendi ceremony, Panday was dressed in a most stunning and chic lehenga, curated with botanical details in lovely mints and gold embellishments by Custom Rahul Mishra Couture. The designer brings out all the details in his post caption, “

We started working on the embroidery artwork featured in Alanna’s look in October 2022. When finally shared with her in November, she loved the botanicals in the first glance and everything moved from there. The idea was to embody the youthful, fun & dainty person that she is and put it in the ensemble.

While the embroidery is intricate and meticulous, it is ultra lightweight. There are motifs such as giraffes, squirrels and tigers that the wearer discovers before the cameras. We had wanted to create something special, something fresh and at the same time, something mindful for her special day.

Alanna’s look takes over 3500 hours to create at our atelier and was sampled across five months of time. The ‘kissing cranes’ on the bralet were a nod to her love for travelling.”

For Haldi Panday “wore the most gorgeous mermaid cut lehenga by Papa Don’t Preach By Shubhika for our haldi brunch. This outfit was inspired by all things I love the most! We incorporated scalloped shoulder sleeve details inspired by seashells, shades of soft turquoise waters, pinks florals and off course the Mermaid silhouette! To tie it in with our Italian farmers market theme we included small Italian inspired motifs to line the skirt”, she pens down in her instagram caption.

For the Haldi ceremony, wherein they played with Haldi, she chose an embellished jumpsuit by Payal Singhal. The designer describes the outfit: “PSBride Alanna Panday adorned a custom designed ecru georgette sharara and backless choli with velvet appliqué and zardosi work, inspired by an Italian holiday, in synchrony with the ‘Italian Farmers Market’ theme.”

A frosty lehenga in shades of white with dreamy, intricate details was Panday;s choice for phereas. The Manish Malhotra custom couture spewed magic all over. With a flowy trail, against an enchanted forest like decor, the all white ensemble blended seamlessly like a fairytale scene. “Our stunning bride Alanna Panday adorns our ivory handcrafted thread-work lehenga, embellished with subtle pearls, bugle beads and crystals. Our trademark petal edging finish enhances the signature #mmveil. Perfecting the final highlights, the bridal look is complete with the ingeniously statement choker and necklace with exquisite earrings in handcrafted ultra-fine diamonds from Manish Malhotra Diamond Jewellery”, describes the couturier on their Instagram caption.

All sparkle went down for Panday’s wedding reception. A high-slit skirt paired with a cut-out bralette in a shimmery fabric and champagne colour, designed by Falguni Shane Peacock seemed like the ideal pick for a night to dance away.

With many takeaways from the wedding for upcoming brides, Alanna Panday’s looks set the bar high for couture lovers. With personal reflections and delightful stories oozing out of every outfit, the multi-designer bridal looks were all very special. A curated style for each event in assortments of colours, fabrics and handwork, made the line of outfits impeccable in the world of fashion.
