Priyanka Chopra is all set to take on the role of a spy in Citadel, a drama series by the Russo Brothers. It is a spy series that also promises an emotional angle. The actress will be starring alongside Madden Richard, whose notable performance includes films like Eternals, Bastille Day and many more. The makers have dropped the trailer of this show and the chemistry between the two is undeniably sizzling. It is hard to believe that it is the first time that two have been paired together on screen.

The trailer of the show takes us through the narratives of two former agents played by Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra Jonas. And how both of them are wiped off of their memory because one of their colleagues double-crosses them. After this, the two continue to lead on their regular lives unaware of the past. This goes on until one of their former Citadel colleagues, Bernard Orlick (Stanley Tucci), tracks Richard Madden’s character down because he desperately needs his help to prevent Manticore from establishing a new world order. Richard then reaches out to Priyanka Chopra for help, and the two set out on a mission.
The series definitely looks promising and the plot is sure to keep you on your toes. The Russo brothers are also all set for an Indian Citadel spinoff starring Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu.
