Parineeti Chopra on Instagram celebrated the wrap of her film titled Chamkila, a film directed by none other than Imtiaz Ali. The film also stars Diljit Dosanjh in the lead. The film shot primarily in Punjab revolves around the lives of two iconic Punjabi singers. It features Parineeti as the character of Amarjot Kaur, while Diljit is set to portray the role of Chamkila in the movie. This marks the first-time collaboration between Parineeti and Diljit, and I cannot wait to see what magic Imitiaz Ali creates on screen, this time around!
Parineeti also expressed her gratitude towards the entire crew of the film and shared her experience on social media. ‘Imtiaz Sir, Diljit, Team Chamkila…My life remains forever changed…the most heavenly crew and experience. Peace, happiness, meditation, Punjab…Will never, ever forget this,’ she wrote. Diljit also took to Instagram to praise Parineeti and her acting and said that she has done an incredible job in the film.
